Brian O’Neill, a Certified Financial Planner, is the founder and President of Cahaba Wealth Management, Inc. He founded the firm in late 2009 with the goal of focusing the firm’s efforts to provide customized financial planning, tax and estate planning, and active investment advisory services to corporate executives, business owners and high net worth individuals. Brian specializes in the areas of retirement transition planning, executive compensation, and investment management.
Brian began his career in private banking with Bank of America in 1995. Eighteen months later, he joined Creative Financial Group where he spent over 13 years. During that time, he opened and ran the company’s Birmingham office and later served as Senior Vice President over company operations in Atlanta. It was during this time that Brian cultivated his passion for working with individual clients, while also leading retirement seminars and workshops for executives and employees of AT&T, Southern Company, Equifax and other local companies.
Brian graduated from Rhodes College in 1994 with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. He serves on the Rhodes Red & Black Executive Committee and has also served as a member of the Rhodes alumni volunteer group. He is also involved with Habitat for Humanity through his membership in the Cathedral of Christ the King in Atlanta and serves as the president of the Loring Heights Neighborhood Association. Brian is also a member of the Georgia Chapter of the Financial Planning Association, the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, and he serves on the board of Soccer in the Streets.
Brian and his wife Laura live in midtown Atlanta with their daughter Isabella and sons Duncan and Tanner.
Henry Wideman, a Certified Financial Planner, is Vice President and a Partner of Cahaba Wealth Management. Henry joined Cahaba in March 2012. His primary focus is to develop and implement financial strategies for retirees, executives, physicians, attorneys, and other high net worth individuals. Henry specializes in providing financial solutions and investment management for those clients experiencing a life transition such as retirement, survivorship, divorce, sale of a business, or family inheritance.
Henry graduated from The University of Alabama in 1997 with a Bachelor’s degree in Family Financial Planning. Upon graduation, he immediately began his career with Cooper, Jones, and McLeland, a successful wealth management firm in Fairfax, Virginia. One year later, he joined Creative Financial Group in Atlanta, Georgia, where he began working with both active and retired Southern Company and AT&T employees. This experience in Atlanta inspired his passion for developing and maintaining long term relationships with clients and their families. The firm then expanded into Birmingham where Henry eventually became a Vice President and presided over company operations in Birmingham. Henry’s total tenure with Creative Financial Group lasted 14 years.
Henry is currently a Certified Financial Planner and a Registered Investment Advisor. He has also carried many other licenses in the securities and insurance areas of financial planning.
Henry is an active member of Trussville First Baptist Church and has coached many youth soccer, basketball, football, and baseball teams. He is also a member of the Financial Planning Association and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors.
Henry lives in Trussville, Alabama with his wife Kim and their 3 children, Carson, Kaleigh, and Jackson.
Charles Anglin, Chartered Financial Analyst & Certified Financial Planner TM, is a Financial Advisor with Cahaba Wealth Management. Charlie joined Cahaba in August 2013, with the goal of providing comprehensive financial planning and investment management, to the firm’s diverse client base. Charlie began his career with Raymond James in Atlanta, while pursuing his industry designations over a five year span. Prior to his time at Raymond James, he spent four years in Athens earning a degree from the University of Georgia.
Originally from Savannah, Charlie now lives with his dogs Martha & Millie in Buckhead. He is a parishioner of Christ the King, and enjoys playing golf or attending UGA games in his free time.
Chris Conkell is a financial advisor in Cahaba Wealth Management’s Atlanta office. Chris joined Cahaba in June 2011, after interning with the company in the summer of 2010. Chris works with individual clients throughout the Southeast. Chris is currently a Certified Financial Planner™ and a Registered Investment Advisor.
Chris graduated from Rhodes College in 2011, where he majored in Business Administration with a focus on tax and accounting. Chris was also the captain of the Rhodes baseball team his final two years. He currently lives in midtown Atlanta.
Will Kennedy is a financial advisor in Cahaba Wealth Management’s Birmingham office. Will joined Cahaba in February 2015 to help grow the firm’s presence in the Birmingham area. Prior to joining Cahaba, Will spent two years with Infinity Property Casualty Corporation, where he worked in Business Development serving the company’s independent agent channel. Will graduated from the University of Alabama in 2012 with a B.A. in Commerce and Business Administration. He is in the process of obtaining his Certified Financial Planner® designation.
Outside of work, Will enjoys being in the outdoors and spending time with friends and family.
William Jackson joined Cahaba Wealth Management in May 2016 to open the firm’s Nashville office. Will joined the firm with the goal of expanding Cahaba’s proven efforts of providing customized financial planning, tax and estate planning, and active investment advisory services to corporate executives, business owners and high net worth individuals.
William began his career in New York with Bankers Trust Company in 1994 as an analyst on the international equity team. Two and a half years later, he joined Equitable Securities where he spent 4 years, followed by 11 years as Managing Director at Avondale Partners. In early 2013, he joined Iroquois Capital Group as Managing Director, where he was the Managing Partner of Iroquois Financial Partners II. William has held positions in portfolio management, research, sales and trading for both retail and institutional clients. He holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, 55, and 65 licenses. Over the years, William has cultivated his passion for working with individual clients who are seeking proven financial solutions to their retirement and investments needs that are consistent with their risk profile, time horizon and income needs. William is a Registered Investment Advisor and in the process of obtaining his Certified Financial PlannerTM designation. William is a graduate of Rhodes College with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.
He currently serves as a board member for Purpose Preparatory Academy, Asst. Coach to the Ensworth High School Varsity Soccer team and as an usher for Westminster Presbyterian Church. He is a former board member of the Fannie Battle Day Home and ACG (TN).
Will and his wife Molly live in Nashville, TN with their children Fred and Sadie.
Susan Copeland is a Paraplanner for Cahaba Wealth Management’s Birmingham office. Susan joined Cahaba in February 2016 to assist with the growth and development of the Birmingham office, while providing our clients with a professional ongoing financial planning experience. Prior to joining Cahaba Wealth Management, Susan began her career with a regional broker dealer where she managed the growth and business of an assigned portfolio of independent advisors. While serving in this role, she was introduced to the RIA platform where she identified working in the independent, Investment Advisory business was where her strengths were best suited. She then expanded her career by joining a local RIA firm where she became FINRA 65 licensed and served in the defined contribution space educating participants on retirement readiness. Deepening her passion for building meaningful relationships, Susan decided to focus on financial planning as a means to help others positively enhance their lives. Susan is in the process of obtaining her Certified Financial Planner designation.
Susan graduated cum laude from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2005 where she earned her B.A. in Spanish. She currently resides in Homewood, Alabama where she is raising her 3 boys. She enjoys running in her spare time and teaching spin classes at her local gym to help encourage healthy living goals.
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT/OFFICE MANAGER
Angela Golsan is the Executive Assistant to Henry Wideman, Vice President of Cahaba Wealth Management and also the office manager for the Birmingham office. She assists in everyday operations within the firm as well as the daily needs of clients. Angela worked in Human Resources at a local broker dealer, before moving to Cahaba Wealth Management in June of 2016.
Originally from Tampa, Angela graduated from the University of South Florida in 2012 with a degree in Mass Communications. She now lives in Birmingham with her husband, Judd and her dog, Duke.
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT/OFFICE MANAGER
Andrea Evangelesta works as the executive assistant to Brian O’Neill, president of Cahaba Wealth Management, and office manager of the Atlanta office. Andrea began her career at Cahaba Wealth Management in March 2017, after spending four years at a concierge medical practice in Sandy Springs. Andrea focuses on providing high-level administrative support to the advisors, daily operations within the company, and tending to the day-to-day needs of clients.
Andrea is originally from Greenville, SC and graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in Sociology. Andrea currently lives in downtown Atlanta with her husband Nathan and their three dogs.
